This wonderful old American flag has 48 stars, meaning it could have been made anywhere from 1912 to 1959!

Made from a woollen fabric the design is stitched not printed, an is one of the largest we have ever found. 

It has some marks and wear from a lifetime of use, small holes and some repair patches as we have tried to show in the photos. 

It would make an amazing feature on the wall!
