This batik stamp is made from copper and is beautifully detailed. This stamp is of a reef fish swimming through bubbles.
The traditional fabric printing method batik originates from the Indonesian island of Java where stamps such as this are used to apply wax to fabric before dying creating wonderful patterns.
Found on a recent trip to Indonesia it would make an interesting display piece in a coastal or island themed home.
