This big old brass ships bell is fabulous!

Off an old Japanese ship it has wonderful character.

The colour of the brass has darkened from years of exposure to sun and sea air. 

Please see the photos for any knocks and bumps it gained over it's working life. 

 It appears to have a mismatched clanger so doesn't quite ring as you would hope. It would make a great piece of the mantel, or hung from the front door!
