Antique Pot - Large #4622

This antique pot is from Borneo, where it was used for salting fish. 

Small dried small fish were placed inside and mixed with salt to cure.

Made of clay it has wonderful texture and an earthy green colour. 

Measures approx: 36cm diameter x 48cm tall
