This amazing ceramic storage vessel was recovered from a shipwreck in the Java Sea near Kalimantan, Indonesia.
Dating from Chinese Song/Yuan Dynasty 13th/14th Century it would have been used to transport and store valuable commodities like mercury, oils, or spices along the ancient Maritime Silk Road.
A stunning one-of-a-kind antique find.
