Lobster Pot Buoy #7487

This is an authentic lobster pot buoy, source from Maine in the US.

Traditionally used to mark the lobster pots, each lobsterman would have his own colour and shape combination linked to his licence number. Occasionally the number and name of the fisherman is also carved into the buoy. 

Rough hewn and aged with time spent in the water they have wonderful character. 

Measures approx: 50cm x 12cm x 12cm
