We haven't managed to find one of these for a while!
This original lobster pot buoy would have been used in Maine or Nova Scotia.
Each Lobsterman was required to have buoys in a unique colour and shape, and registration number.
These wooden buoys were phased out over 50 years ago and replaced with plastic buoys making the traditional style highly collectable.
Measures approx: 41cm x 10cm diameter
