This wonderful old French demijohn is a beautiful clear glass with a hint of a soft aqua colour.
Found in a dusty old warehouse in Indonesia, these demijohns were brought to Borneo during World War II, filled with wine and vinegar.
An amazing find, the French are starting to import these empty demijohns back into France as they preserve wine beautifully with out the chemicals that can leach from new glass.
Please note that an air bubble has popped, making a small mark as you can see in the photos.
Measures approx: 50m x 26cm
