This stunning dough bowl is from Turkey.

Once used to prove the dough before baking, they make a wonderful feature filled with shells, floats or plants.

The timber has aged from years of use creating wonderful texture and interest. Old metal patches and hide strips have been added over the years to over cracks and holes.
