This beautiful set of scales have come from Lyon in France and were used by a tobacconist.
Dating back to the late 1800s / early 1900s the body is made of black colour wood with a white marble top and 2 plates made of animal horns sitting on a brass balance mechanism.
The horn plates have been repaired in the past, but other than that the scales are in wonderful condition.
Measures approx: 35cm x 18cm x 13cm
