This old jar is a soft purple colour. It says PICK ME UP in embossed writing on the side. 

Old purple glass is also known as sun glass, as the purple colour was created when an ingredient in the glass called manganese was exposed to UV light. 

Wonderful styling pieces for a vintage space, they make great vases.
