These sweet little glass floats are around the size of a golf ball and were used along the edges of fishing nets.

Over time the rope nets would deteriorate and floats would break free! These floats were commonly made with recycled glass giving a wonderful spectrum of colours. 

They look wonderful styled in a jar or shell, or sprinkled amongst other treasures in a vignette.
