Favourite Local Spots

Want to live like a local on your next visit to Noosa? Read on for the Coastal Vintage Crews favourite local spots...

Captain Sally has opted for Noosa's beautiful National Park. With stunning views over the ocean, lush native trees and a chance to spot a whale or two, this coastal trail will take your breath away!

Sally's Top Tip: "Head there before 6am to avoid the crowds and nab a carpark!"

Amanda loves heading to the Noosa Marina. Not only is it the launching point for the Noosa Ferry, which will take you all the way to the heart of Hastings Street, it is also home to restaurants, bars & shops.

Amanda's Top Tip: "Try the Gelato from Amore, the guy that runs it has the best dad jokes in Noosa! Also, fish & chips on a Friday afternoon and as it's licenced - happy hour!"

Jo has chosen to head slightly inland to the magical Noosa Hinterland. The towns of Cooroy, Pomona, Cooran & Kin Kin are all well worth the drive and have so much to offer.

Jo's Top Tip: "Visit the Pomona Distillery and order a Kin Kin Sour, you won't be disappointed! And if you have kids the adventure playground in Cooroy is a must."

Eumundi local Alice has opted for her home patch! The historic town of Eumundi, famous for its weekly markets, is only a 20 minute drive from Noosa.

Thriving and fabulous with cafes, galleries and the world famous Berkelouw Book Barn. There is something for everyone to enjoy here!

Alice's Top Tip: "If you are looking for a unique place to stay in the heart of Eumundi try HOLA (House Of Local Art.) And the cocktails at the Tiki Bar are amazing!"

Tess can't go past Noosa Main Beach, and with a husband and two young kids who love to surf, we can't blame her! Home to the annual Noosa Festival of Surfing, Noosa Main Beach really is a slice of paradise!

Tess's Top Tip: "A Cool Cabana is almost a requirement and if you get too fried on the beach, sundowners & a bucket of prawns at the Noosa Surf Club is always a good idea."

Our last crew pick from Chezz is Peregian Beach, a hidden jewel just 15 minutes from Noosa. Come for the beautiful beach, but stay for the boutique shopping (think Byron Bay vibes.)

There is a skatepark for the kids, a sheltered green area perfect for picnics and plenty of cafes & restaurants.

Chezz's Top Tip: "My favourite restaurants would have to be Periwinkle or Pitchfork, for the best coffee head to Outer Square. And don't forget to visit the markets on Sunday morning."
