These gorgeous wooden boxes are actually a brick moulds and were used to shape clay or mud into blocks!

The beautifully aged timber is held together by rustic metal strips, each mould would have created two bricks. 

Perfect as a display piece in a vintage industrial or country decor, it could also be used more practically for storage.
