These amazing old maritime lights would make a fabulous dock or jetty light. They are actually RACON light - the name is an acronym for RAdar  beaCON. 

Racons are receiver/transmitter devices operating in the maritime radar frequency bands, that enhance the detection and identification of certain radar targets. A Racon responds to the presence of a ship’s radar by sending a characteristic pulse train.

They are often used to mark lighthouses, oil platforms, or coral reefs. You can see more information here.

A really unusual find, and it would make an amazing feature piece, or have it wired by a qualified electrician to create a light feature with a nautical look placed on the end of your dock or jetty.
