This bowl have been carved from wood.

Over the years metal patches have been added to cover cracks and holes. It has some dark patches where the timbers natural tannins are present.  

It is perfect for use as a fruit bowl in the kitchen, for candles as a dining centre piece, or filled with shells on the coffee table.
